My name is Jason Imlach. I’m an actor and musician.
So far this year I’ve been appearing in sold-out productions of SKINT at VAULT Festival and A Time And A Place at Sutton House. I also performed in ‘Little Write Lies’ at VAULT Festival.
SKINT won a VAULT Festival Pick of the Week Award (“shows which stand out to us as an exceptional achievement… we just really loved them”) and one of three VAULT Festival Spirit Awards (“capturing what makes VAULT special… for those who’ve helped embody the ideas we want to promote through the quality of their work and attitude”). There were 118 shows featured at the festival this year.
I’m currently in rehearsals for The Actors Class Showcase at The Tristan Bates Theatre on 11th March.
In 2014 I appeared in Neil LaBute’s ‘Fat Pig’ at the Burton Taylor Studio, Oxford and in Timothy Sheader’s production of Arthur Miller’s ‘All My Sons’ at the Regent’s Park Open-Air Theatre.
“Imlach has to avoid tipping the audience too soon either way, saving the revelation of Tom’s true motivations to the end. He succeeds in this task, which seems easy – it has nothing to do with big emotional set-pieces – but is in fact the hardest thing for an actor to pull off.”
